VP, Principal Geologist

Mr. Bird is a California Professional Geologist with over 36 years of professional experience and serving as the primary responsible professional developing the overall work scope, budget and project tracking, and technical management on several multimillion-dollar Remedial Investigation and Feasibility Study (RI/FS) projects involving numerous Potential Responsible Parties under adverse litigious conditions.  Mr. Bird’s work background includes extensive project experience on large scale, National Contingency Plan compliant investigations for the public and private sector.  Mr. Bird has worked closely in developing community outreach programs including Restoration Advisory Boards, Technical Review Committees, and other community relation activities.  His experience includes the completion of CERCLA waste removal actions, RCRA oversight/permitting, and performance of health and ecological risk assessments.  In addition, he is experienced and well acquainted with working on much smaller projects involving small businesses, developers and contractors.
